About Me

I first took photography seriously when the Pandemic hit, and the world became still. It was an anxious time for many people, but for me it was also it was a time to reflect on my life, my dreams and my possibilities. Photography has been a captivating subject for me since I was a child, but I got my first camera at 15. It was called the soap bar, and it served me well. I got my first DSLR when I turned 30, and for the first time I felt that I was on to something special. Even then it took me time to develop my skills and gain knowledge, but I never gave up.

My journey began book by book, class by class, I started to develop my style and build my portfolio. In the winter of 2023, I stumbled upon an exhibition of the local Camera Club, and I was pleasantly surprised of the high level of presented photographs I saw. That is when I joined Bookham Camera Club, which has played a major role in my development as a photographer and has given my confidence a very important boost. I have tried many different genres, and I signed up to different Personal Interest Groups and participated in Club competitions. Learning and growing among likeminded people who share the same interests is an amazing opportunity and a very powerful force. We might have different goals by we are all driven by the same passion to create Photography Art.

My preferred choice of technical equipment is Canon, and sometimes my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra mobile phone.

I am the most comfortable in taking Landscape photographs, but I also love to take Female Portraits. My new field of interest lies with ICM, still life and Fine Art Street Photography. But my biggest challenge is Black & White photography, as I am very passionate about colour, I found it difficult to switch to monochrome.

My goal is to create a photograph that is able to evoke deep emotions in people, make them feel united with the beauty of this amazing planet we live on. Our busy life experiences may bring us to burnout and emptiness. Whereas a unity with nature makes us stop, revaluate and seize the moment. Capturing surrounded beauty is an opportunity to bring this to your home in a form of Photographic Art and give the sense of harmony, balance and inspiration. I have been there myself, therefore I value the authenticity of the artistic way and the role it played in my life. The biggest reward for me is to be able to share my art and my vision with the public, and I hope it will bring joy and happiness to your life, and if you will feel inspired or touched that will make me even happier, because I will know you feel my Passion.
